I am a Sunni Muslim i want to marry a Shia girl.MY father is ready with this but my mother and her sisters are not ready with this,as They think that shia's have different lifestyle and will not be able to adjust,Secondly the major question which at times Knocks me too,is shia muslim prioritize Hazrat Ali (R.A) over Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W) and disrespect/disagree or Khalifas Hazrat Abu Bakr siddique (R.A)and hazrat Omar (R.A).. Does she need to change her practices and her perspective .. What all the grounds on which i should make her understand and decide on marrying her. Further i am the one who has proposed her,and promised that everyone will agree to our decision,but know if i turn back saying that marrying her is not jaiz/allowed, will i not be held responsible for betraying her in the eyes of sharia. Asalamualaykum Mufti Sahib, Is adoption permissible in Islam? My eldest daughter is married to my fathers real brothers son 20 years ago. She has 3 children out of the marriage. As salaam wa alaikum yesterday i went to see a person for my sisters marriage. He is older to her by 15 years and is profession is hindi movie director. Is it proper for me to further progress in the matter as i think his source of income is not halal. Can i ask him to leave that profession but than what other work can i suggest, plus he is having enough money which is earned by his existing profession. Kindly guide me in the matter. In continuation with Question #: 16005 Respected Maulana, Assalamualiakum Wa rahamatullahi barkatahu, I am in very great trouble now. The girl whom I got married is having an affair with someone. Due to this she had asked me many times to give talaq. Since I did not knew that she loves someone I had ignored this. She has clearly written in one letter and also told me about this later. I did not share this (she loves someone else and talaq matter) with her parents. Few days before she went to her sister?s house and said to her parents that I have given talaq to her 3 to 4 times. Those people came to my house and beat me and blamed my sister that she has spoiled their daughter?s life. She lie a lot (even takes oath on Quran). While getting married I was told my many people who know her family that they strictly follow Islam. But now I know that they are not. Her father had died few years back before my marriage. She has taken all jewelry give by us. I do not want to spend rest of my life with a liar who does not fear Allah and the Day of Judgment. Please help me. In eleven months of our marriage she hardly stayed with me for 2 months. Please let me know what will be compensation I should give? Will I get back the jewelry (not mahar) give by me? Few days back I married a Hindu girl after making her Muslim, as there were lot of opposition from my parent earlier, i have not informed about my nikah. After long discussion now they agreed and accept her but for declaration in the society they want to perform our nikah once again with same girl for the sake of approval from the society. wether it is correct to do nikah with the same girl in the light of Islamic laws. please clearify. Dear Sir, Is it permissible to marry with the girl with whom I have committed adultery without repentance from this sin.I did not know it but one ulema told me that this marriage is invalid if we married without doing repentence from this sin and we should make marriage again. Now we are already married, it will be difficult to call the girl family again for remarriage and they will ask also why we wanna marry again when girl's father already gave her to me in marriage in front of whole society.
