assalamualaikum mufti saab. hope you are fine by the grace of ALLAH the Almighty. my question is regarding istekhara.i pray 5 times a day and read the holy quran every day after fajar prayer. i am in love with my cousin and she also loved me. due tyo family problems i came to dubai and could not keep good contact with her. i sometimes behaved very badly. but 1 day i realised what i am doing was not good at all. so i seek ALLAH's forgivness and seek her forgiveness. but by that time due to my bad behaviour she started hating me. any ways now she is not in my life anymore. i tried to convince her and tried to contact her but the refused.wat she says is if ALLAH wants us to get married we will get married so there is no use of talking. as i m religious i beleived this.mufti saab we both talked to each other for three years but never met or had any physical relationship, though she was my cousin, because my family and her family alhamdulillah we are religious. my question is she saying me the truth that because it is a sin so she will not talk to me or she started having affair with some one thats why she is ignoring me. is it possible to check this by doing istekharah. and plz tell me the way of doing istekharah. and plz advice me in regards to quran and shariah. thank you. jazak Allah khair.[25 Aug, 2009]

Assalam Alykum, I like a girl since last 8 years and She also likes me and we want to get married.I told it to my family, so my elder brother proposed it to girl's father, but he refused because I am from Bihar and they are from Utter pradesh.Now, girl's parrents are searching other boy for her marriage. If I will married with the girl in court and after that we will do NIKAH also in front of 3-4 witnesses, is it legal according to Islam? Is it mendatory, presence of girl's parrents. I wanted to know that if a mature boy and mature girl have performed nikah with the consent of their parents, but because the girl is studying the girls parents dont want her to go to her husbands house and stay till she completes her course because it would be difficult for her to complete her course if she takes the household responsibility, and if her husband and husbands parents agree to this condition that they will not have any husband-wife relationship before marriage, will it be right according to islam for 2 people in nikah to stay away without any relationship for 3 years,when both have agreed. thank you Plz guide me to make the right decision as soon as possible. allah hafiz[14 Jul, 2009]

Dear Mufti sahib, i have a question that my parents decided to marry me with a girl which was among our relatives. due to some reason our engagement delayed but we started talking on phone and now we are in love with each other. i am 26 and she is 29. now the situation is this that her parents refuse to marry her with me due to the love realtion we build up. as it was decided between our parents and now we cant live without each other. my parents are also forcing me to leave her but i cannot do this as we have accepted each other as husband and wife and we have a very strong bond between both of us. now the question is can i marry her without the approval of my parents because both side parents are not agreed now due to EGO problem. i also dont want to hurt my parents but its a matter of my life now and i have to make a decision. so please advice me what should i do..?? both of us are financially strong,she is a doctor and im a software engineer.[18 Jul, 2009]
